Where are the products made?

All of our bedding is made by a leading manufacturer in the Northern region of Portugal.

Our chosen manufacturer is OEKO-TEX certified, meaning that there are no harmful chemicals used in the process of making our bedding. They are also part of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), which ensures that the cotton they use is part of a process that improves the conditions for both the people who produce it and the environment at use. One of the BCI’s main objectives is to support more responsible cotton farming practices, namely by improving the farmers’ livelihoods and by optimising economical development in the cotton production areas.

What is the difference between Sateen and Flannel?

Both are made from 100% cotton, the difference lies in the way the fabric is finished.

Our Sateen fabric is very smooth and luxurious, perfect for all year round. It has a slight sheen that makes the colours pop without looking too silky. It is breathable and versatile, making it ideal for all types of sleepers.

Our Flannel collection is super soft since the cotton has been brushed on both sides. Since this is a lightweight flannel, it works for most nights in the UK, apart from the few heatwaves we get in summer. Due to the natural material used it is breathable and won’t let you get stuffy overnight - although if you are typically a very hot sleeper, we think the Sateen would be better suited for you.

How do I take best care of my bedding?

For best results, we recommend using a washing cycle of 40°C. If you are lucky enough to own a tumble dryer, then pop the sheets in on a low temperature cycle, or a few minutes after letting them line dry. This will keep the softness you experience when you first receive them. If you do not have a tumble dryer you can simply line dry them, which should take less than 24 hours to completely dry - although they naturally won’t remain as soft compared to putting them in the tumble dryer.

If you like to iron your sheets, you can do so at medium temperature.

Do not bleach or dry clean.

If you follow these care instructions there won’t be any shrinkage or colour fading, thanks to our production techniques, and your bedding will last for years.

Do you have more sizes available?

At the moment we only offer UK Double and UK King sizes. We are looking to incorporate UK Single and UK Super King sizes soon. In terms of pillowcases we offer the standard size (75x50cm). Our fitted sheets are made to work for mattresses up to 38cm deep.

SHIPPING

Where do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to the United-Kingdom.

We are looking to expand for international shipping. Drop us a message to let us know where you want us to ship to next!

What are your shipping rates?

Regardless of your order quantity, we take on over half your shipping costs. We partner with ParcelForce to ensure you have your products delivered in good shape and with little wait. We offer two shipping options with the following rates:

  • Standard shipping (3-5 working days): £3.50

  • Next Day (weekdays only): £6.50

If you would like to speed up or delay your shipment, please let us know as soon as you have ordered by providing your order number and full name at contact@holycosy.com. We’ll try to help you as best we can.

When will my order ship?

You will receive an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. We process our orders as soon as we can. If you placed your order over the weekend we will ship the following Monday. Once you receive the tracking number you will be able to save a delivery slot or request for the parcel to be delivered at your local post office.

Please note that due to COVID-19 orders may take longer than usual to be processed. We will notify you if there is anything holding us up.

What if I miss my delivery?

If you miss your delivery, our courier will either re-attempt delivery or place your parcel at your local post office for convenient collection. If you are experiencing major issues with receiving your package, feel free to contact us at contact@holycosy.com so we can assist.
